India’s legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid has been invited to speak at the MIT’s Sports Analysis Conference, hosting a panel discussion on cricket for the first time.

The media release said that this high-profile discussion on the role of analytics in cricket is expected to offer many insights into modern cricket and popular leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Other sessions on major sports such as basketball, football, baseball in the US will also offer learning to use analytics and technology for cricket. Data and in-game technology in particular is advancing their leagues like NFL, MLB, NBA and making them popular in other parts of the world, the statement said.
