LUCKNOW: UP board class 10, 12 examinations will now start from May 8 instead of April 24

Lucknow, UP Board High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations will now start from May 8 instead of April 24.

He said that the Class 10 exams would run in 12 working days and would end on May 25. Similarly, the class 12 examination will be completed in 15 working days and will end on May 28.

Hindi and Primary Hindi will be the first examination for high school students, while in Hindi and General Hindi on May 8, the first paper will be for intermediate students. According to the revised date sheet, May 28 has been set.

Students can get the revised date sheet for the exam on the official website of UP Middle School Education Council.

Last year too, the High School and Intermediate examinations were completed in 12 and 15 working days respectively.

29,94,312 candidates including 16,74,022 boys and 13,20,290 girls have been registered for the High School Examination. Similarly, 26,09,501 candidates, including 14,73,771 boys and 11,35,730 girls, have been registered for the intermediate examination.

Last year, the UP board examinations started on February 18 and concluded before the first week of March closed. This year, the exam has been delayed by about two months as schools remained closed for months in the wake of the Kovid epidemic. Classes for 9 to 12 began in October 2020.
